The Calvet armchair is outstanding amongst these designs because of its expressive force. It was designed along with four other pieces: stool, a mirror, a chair and a bench for the house of the same name.
Authenticity
The Calvet Mirror is numbered and accompanied by a certificate, signed by the director of the Gaudí Cathedral, certifying that they is a faithful and exact reproduction of the original designed by Antoni Gaudí.
Materials
Mirror: This is an entire, one-sided mirror.
Frame: Carved in solid oak (wood) with an optional coat of Fine Gold Leaf, made up of a fine layer of polyester, silver and yellow paint. The frame is painted respectively to give a gold colour (12 micron). The layers are glued together with Mixton (an adhesive varnish).
Finishes
The frame is made of solid oak (wood) and can either be lightly coated with a tint of dark oak, and varnish, or with the optional coat of Gold Leaf.
