Perhaps this is the smallest piece of furniture ever made by Gaudí with its longest side measuring 25 centimetres. However this piece reveals the complexity inherent in his other major works. A central rectangular wooden body with curved edges. A surface crossed by three elongated openings, joined at the middle with two brass plated steel ribbons to another couple of wooden elements. Fixed together with rounded shapes, one being the perietal support and the other aptly called, the hanger.
The Calvet Hanger is numbered and accompanied by a certificate, signed by the director of the Gaudí Cathedra, certifying that they is a faithful and exact reproduction of the original designed by Antoni Gaudí.
European solid oak components, with a traditional waxing of natural wax mixtures flavored with laurel. Fire-forged iron structure with subsequent burnished bronze, and transparent protective varnish. Wall fixing plate in 1.5mm brass plate. It incorporates an engraving to identify the name of the manufacturer, the numbering and the year of manufacture.

Although born and trained in Madrid, he was forged as a designer with Fabrica, the breeding ground of creativity run by Benetton near the Italian city of Treviso, where he arrived in 1997, when he had barely turned 24, to work under Oliviero Toscani, who would soon put him in charge of the design department. It was at Fabrica that he first worked with BD on the Mail Me project.
A company that has always attributed such great importance to the author of the designs could never forget the great figures in history. That is why the BD catalogue of contemporary creations has always included those by admired classical masters.
A sheep with a drawer in its stomach, a chair that wears heels, these truly surreal works of art could only come from the mind of Salvador Dalí. Pioneering, avant-garde provocateur, Surrealist, as famous for his personality as his work, a true icon, his legacy remains unrivalled in the current century.
