Sculpture-Armchair
Taken from ‘Femme à tête de roses’ (1935) (Woman with a head of roses). It was sufficient for this sculpture to be made as a three dimensional piece, remaining faithful to every detail in Dalí’s painting.
Dalí heritage
In the 1990s, a team of experts led by Oscar Tusquets set out to bring to life the furniture that Dalí had sketched for Jean-Michel Frank, including the Leda chair and low table taken from the 1935 painting ‘Femme à tête de roses’ (1935). The sculptor Joaquim Camps was responsible for breathing life into them and BD Barcelona Design took charge of their worldwide exclusive production and marketing.
Black Label
In 2009 we commemorated the 20th Anniversary of the death of Salvador Dalí and BD wished to add its special homage by producing a special limited edition of his fantastic furniture collection. This lamp is also available in the Black Label edition.
