Dalí ’s work was not restrictes to the traditional furnishing elements, but included tap fittings, handles, door-pulls, printed fabrics and objets of indeterminate use.
Dalí Furniture
In the Paris of the 1930s, Salvador Dalí (1904/1989) surrounded himself with a circle of friends working in the application of art to a number of varied disciplines, beyond the study of purely pictorial art. One of these, Jean-Michel Frank, an acclaimed furniture designer and decorator in Paris at that time, got on extremely well with Dalí, and together they developed a number of ideas.

Material:
Three solid parts fused together by lost-wax casting in bronze and as sembled to form a single body. The surface of the parts is a polished, glossy surface, and it includes a clear, 25-micron varnish based on high-strength epoxy resins, air dried.
